Parenteen
for
teen parents and their children
Parenteen* is a comprehensive program serving
pregnant and parenting teens, their partners and children. Teens learn parenting
skills, share common concerns, and help their children develop friendships and
social skills.
Parenteen program provides:
- Free weekly shared evening meals, transportation
and developmentally appropriate childcare
- Interaction with other teen parents
- Individual and group counseling
- Case management
- Parent-child interaction activities

Forest Park only.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
The Parenteen program is looking for volunteers to make dinners on Wednesday
nights for the teens and their children. If you can help make an entree, side
dish, salad or dessert please call Ann Puccetti at 708.848.2227.
Food that needs no refrigeration or heating can be dropped off at any time
before the 5:30 pm meal. Hot foods and refrigeration items should be dropped off
between 5:00 pm and 5:20 pm. Store-bought and pre-made items are acceptable and
greatly apprecaited.
NEW OR GENTLY USED BOOKS NEEDED!
The Parenteen program is also looking for new or
gently used book donations for an ongoing literacy program. Two children's books
per month are given to every teen mom to help promote early literacy for their
children. If you are interested in donating books to this program please call
Ann 708.848.2227. (Board books are preferred, but any donation is greatly
appreciated!)
