Parenteen

teen parents and their children
Parenteen* is a comprehensive program serving
pregnant and parenting teens and their children.
Who goes to Parenteen?
Parenteen provides
FREE:
- Weekly meals, transportation and onsite childcare
- Weekly support/educational groups (Wednesdays from 5:30pm to
7:30pm)
- Individual counseling and case management
services
- Opportunities to connect with other teen parents
- Community referrals

funding, this program is offered to Oak Park, River Forest, and
Forest Park residents only.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
The Parenteen program is looking for volunteers to make dinners on Wednesday
nights for the teens and their children. If you can help make an entree, side
dish, salad or dessert please call Ann Puccetti at 708.848.2227.
Food that needs no refrigeration or heating can be dropped off at any time
before the 5:30 pm meal. Hot foods and refrigeration items should be dropped off
between 5:00 pm and 5:20 pm. Store-bought and pre-made items are acceptable and
greatly appreciated.
NEW OR GENTLY USED BOOKS NEEDED!
The Parenteen program is always looking for new
or gently used book donations to promote an ongoing literacy program for teen
parents and their children. If you are interested in donating books to this program please
contact Ann at 708.848.2227 or email
apuccetti@parenthesis-info.org. (Board books are preferred, but any donation is greatly
appreciated!)
